When we launched our can range back in May of this year we never expected they'd be award winners at the first attempt of SIBA's South East awards, held at Tonbridge Juddians Beer Festival.

Having entered beers into the following categories: Opening Gambit (bitter upto 4.4%), Tiger Hill (speciality light), Jump-start (Session IPA upto 4.3%) and Pia (Dark beers upto 4.4%), we had hoped for an award but weren't expecting anything more than to enjoy a great beer festival with other great breweries. However, to our surprise we were summoned to the stage to collect the first of our awards, a BRONZE for Jump-start, shortly followed by a GOLD for Pia. To receive two major awards so quickly after launching our new cans is a massive testament to the hard work that the whole team puts in every day, and we're super proud of both beers. Pia's GOLD means that it is entered into the National Independent Beer Awards that will be judged in March 2019 at BeerX. Not to be forgotten about, Tiger Hill; our monthly cask special for July, came a very respectable but frustrating 4th place in the Light Speciality Beers.

Hopefully, this will be the first of many awards for our can and keg range, as we look to pursue different styles and techniques to produce yet more great sessionable beer!
